Patient Advocate Foundation
Patient Advocate Foundation is a national non-profit organization that "serves as an active liaison between the patient and their insurer, employer and/or creditors to resolve insurance, job retention and/or debt crisis matters relative to their diagnosis through case managers, doctors and attorneys. Patient Advocate Foundation seeks to safeguard patients through effective mediation assuring access to care, maintenance of employment and preservation of their financial stability."
Family Caregiver Alliance
A public voice for caregivers with information, education, services, research and advocacy programs that support and sustain the important work of families nationwide caring for loved ones with chronic disabling heath conditions.
National Family Caregiver Support Program
Funded by the federal Older Americans Act, Title III E, helps persons any age who serve as unpaid caregivers for persons sixty or older. The goal of this program is to relieve the emotional, physical, and financial hardships of providing continual care.
State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP)
SCHIP is designed to provide coverage to targeted low-income children. SCHIP varies from state to state because SCHIP offers states three options when designing a program.
