Being Truly Present
Being Truly Present

From the author: My intent is to produce blog posts that are part “article” and part “reflection”.  The “article” part means that each post will have substance to it by providing information, concepts and links to other blogs, websites, authors, etc.  The focus of the “article” will be on something I want to know more about (and hopefully you will too), as it relates to being more fully present, engaged, passionate, inspired, spiritually alive and connected.

The “reflection” part will be what brings the information to life and give it more depth.  It might be questions I’m asking myself (and you might be too?) or struggles I might be having to put it into practice (i.e. meditation – so much easier on paper than in real life!!)

BPS Research Digest
BPS Research Digest

From the blog description: The British Psychological Society's award-winning Research Digest blog provides original, authoritative reports on the latest psychology research papers. The aim is to write accessible, accurate reports on those studies that make an important contribution, that are relevant to real life, timely, novel or thought-provoking. We want to demonstrate how interesting and useful psychological science can be, whilst also casting a critical eye over the methods used.

Greenlights.org

Greenlights provides valuable services and resources that are either free or affordable, including management consulting services, professional development workshops and conferences, in-depth research, a membership program and more. Their blog is a terrific resource for nonprofit organizations looking to increase their effectiveness. Substitute 'ministry' for 'nonprofit' and 'vestry' for 'board' and these tools become invaluable for churches. Linked below is a blog post full of (free) resources we find particularly helpful!
